NexusAI is designed with privacy at its core. Here is what we collect and don't collect:
What we DON'T collect
- Your OpenAI API key (stored only in your browser's localStorage)
- Your conversation history (stored only in your browser)
- Message content you send to AI models
- Generated images or other AI outputs
What we may collect
- Anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage counts)
- Error logs without personally identifiable information
- Information you voluntarily provide (e.g., via our contact form)
2. How Your Messages Are Processed
When you send a message, it travels from your browser โ our Flask server โ OpenAI's API. We act as a pass-through proxy. We do not log, store, or inspect message content. Your messages are subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies
We use a minimal session cookie for Flask's security features. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. See our Cookie Policy for details.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Fonts for typography. When your browser loads fonts, Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
Since we don't store personal data, there is nothing to delete from our servers. Your browser data (history, API key) can be cleared at any time by using your browser's "Clear site data" option or by clicking "Clear Chat" within the app.
6. Children's Privacy
NexusAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new policy.
